*Pastor’s Garage- April 11, 2024*

So I have always enjoyed going fast! I have ever owned any vehicles that
were really fast by some standards, but I have owned some that were faster
than most!(not that I put that to the test in any way, shape, or
form…..on streets….at red lights….. or on quiet country highways late
at night…….) There is something exhilarating about a contest of speed
or agility and coming out the victor. There’s something deeply satisfying
after some adjustment or trial about surpassing a previous personal best.

I have also owned vehicles that I could tell were not running as well as
they could or were designed too. My truck right now is an example of that.
When I fire it up in the morning it runs fine, but as it warms up it starts
to stumble and surge, until finally resting at a continuous miss and
shudder while driving. Shut it down for the night, let it cool off, and it
seems to run fine again first thing in the morning until it warms up and
repeats the process all over again. While at this point it likely isn’t
anything too serious, it is a bit annoying and is hard on gas. It is still
somewhat drive-able. But if I was to ignore the problem and just keep on
driving it for any length of time I am sure it would cause bigger problems
that would cost far more. I have an appointment to have it looked at and I
am trying to avoid driving it.

Our lives are like that at times as well. Everything seems to be running
fine, but it’s still a good idea to check things over from time to time and
do some preventable maintenance. And then all of the sudden, out of the
blue, for no apparent reason, a miss or shudder appears. Sure we could just
keep on plugging away, hoping it will just magically disappear, but that’s
usually not the best idea and left unaddressed things usually get worse if
not catastrophic!

This Sunday I will be talking about making sure we are healthy and on the
right track. How we are living in interesting times, with much varied
opinion out there over almost every issue you can imagine. How do we stay
on the straight and narrow and know what is true or counterfeit? I will
also be asking us to do a specific spiritual check up and diagnosis if you
will in the form of a fast. A fast is where you refrain from a normal
activity for a set period of time replacing it with a focus on the things
of the Lord. I heard an old preacher once say “If you want to go fast, you
need to fast!” As unpleasant as it might be during the duration it
inevitably allows you to see things clearer and operate in a far more
healthy way after!

I want to leave you with this passage from 2 Timothy. *“But you must remain
faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for
you know you can trust those who taught you. You have been taught the holy
Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive
the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is
inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us
realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and
teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people
to do every good work.” *2 Timothy 3:14-17NLT

Well I don’t want to get your hopes up but it may just be warming up out
there! Don’t get me wrong, it’s been a nice winter, BUT a long one! It
feels like about 37 years ago when we got that first snow in October!

Just wanted to send out a short note letting you know we have something
very special in store for you during tomorrow morning’s service! It’s
something I have been working on since last summer! Ron and Veronica Esau,
missionaries to Turkey, which we support as a church, will be joining us
via Zoom to share their hearts! And they have an exciting announcement to
make about their future! They have been there for 7 years already! That is
so hard to believe! It seems like just a year to two ago they joined us for
our weekend camping trip at Crooked Lake Provincial Park just prior to them
leaving for the field! We had hoped that they could visit us for a weekend
last summer when they were back in Canada, but some family stuff came up
for them and they literally didn’t end up having a Sunday they could give
us. So we have been working on a Sunday when they could join us via zoom,
here’s hoping technology is our friend! We did a test run on Wed and it
seems like it will work! This is another area that I miss pastor Dave, he
was a bit of a tech wizard and definitely our IT man! I can get by with
computer stuff as long as there are no hiccups! As soon as there is a bit
of a road block, I am lost!

Something else that a few of us have been pondering is another camping
weekend. We have kind of done a few different versions of this over the
last number of years. As we talked it over a few weeks ago I think the
consensus was that we go back to a simpler version like we did the first
few years. It’s always hard to pick a date as there is never one that works
for everyone, but we came up with the June 21-23 weekend. We are gonna be
having it at Crooked Lake Provincial Park again, and just leaving it up to
those who would like to attend to book their own sites. We will try and
congregate in the area by the boat launch, sites 75-87. Booking for the
park opens at 7am Tuesday April 9th, as in three days from now, and the
sites tend to book up quickly so if you would like to be located in the
group I would suggest booking that morning! Bring your camper, the tent
sites are right beside! We’ll hammer out the details as the date gets
closer as to whether we do a potluck meal or have our church picnic there.
Other than that everyone will be responsible for their own site, camper or
tent, and meals.

A good friend dropped by the church Thursday morning to encourage me, and
boy I needed it! While there he mentioned a passage from Philippians 3 that
I wanted to leave you with. *“I don’t mean to say that I have already
achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I
press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed
me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on
this one thing. Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.
I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for
which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”Philippians 3:12-14 *

Please remember Richard Dimler and Brenda Bonk in your prayers as they
struggle with their health! That God would grant them peace and strength
and their families wisdom and comfort in this season of their lives!

Well I don’t want to get your hopes up or anything, but there is snow in
the forecast for tomorrow! Don’t put your shovels away just yet! Do you
happen to remember that Easter weekend a number of years ago when we had
that big dump of snow Friday night that knocked the power out for like 30
hours! I remember I had a medieval feast dress up thing at my place for a
number of friends on Friday. Dean Drinnan was dressed as some kind of Pict
warrior all painted in blue with no shirt on! Later that night we had over
a foot of heavy snow which knocked some power lines down. I still remember
waking up to a cold house, getting the wood stove stoked up and frying eggs
and bacon on the top and just hunkering down and reading a book all day!

Easter weekend is always a different story weather wise every year.
Sometimes it’s hot and beautiful, sometimes we get another shot of old man
winter! We often make our plans to get together with friends and family for
a celebration! As I think about how in the midst of our dreams and plans we
are still at the mercy of the weather this time of year, my mind goes to
what it must have been like for the followers of Jesus during that season
approximately two thousand years ago. On palm Sunday they were celebrating
His entrance into Jerusalem as their long awaited saviour messiah! And just
a few days later they stood looking at Him hanging on a cross!

Life is like that at times. We think we have a pretty good idea of what’s
to come. At times we are excited for some new occurrence or opportunity,
only to have those dreams dashed before our eyes. At other times the future
just looks dismal, seemingly like there is no light at the end of the
tunnel. We need to remember in the darkest of moments, we don’t actually
see the big picture either! I’m sure as the very few of the remaining
faithful followers of Jesus stood looking up at that cross, all seemed
futile and lost! And yet, in just a couple days God would reveal a much
bigger, better plan!

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus! He is the Way! The Truth! The Life! He is
our only hope! The only true source of meaning, purpose and fulfillment
there is! He’s won the victory! He knows the end of the story because He’s
written it for us! It’s a good ending!

This Sunday please come and celebrate His resurrection with us! We are
having a fellowship time starting at 9:30 at the church before the morning
service with some muffins and fruit. If you would like to help out with
that please contact Cheryl Fischer.

“*Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to
the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down,
especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with
endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on
Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the
joy awaiting him,he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is
seated in the place of honour beside God’s throne. Think of all the
hostility he endured from sinful people, then you won’t become weary and
give up.” Hebrews 12:1-3*

Hey there, how’s the long slow entrance into spring treating you? I, for
one, am more than ready for the lamb that the lion at the beginning of
March predicted to show up! As I wrote that last sentence my thoughts went
to a very different Lion and Lamb! The one I hope we all know, love, and
serve! The reality is one day we will all kneel before Him, as either the
Lamb that takes away the sin of the world, or the Lion of Judah, who will
judge the living and the dead! In light of that, how are we to walk these
few years we have on this earth? The light of this reality should affect
how we live on a daily basis!

Last Sunday I talked about how we are called to interact with the world.
The sermon was based upon 2 Kings 6:8-23. I would suggest reading it to
give some perspective to what I am about to say if you weren’t able to be
there, or possibly have totally forgotten what I talked about already. The
reality is that the Lord is not calling us to judge, control, fight
against, manipulate, or coerce those we perceive to be our enemies in the
battle we find ourselves in. He calls us to love and bless them! He
promises to fight on our behalf, He promises to reveal, He promises to
judge. I would argue that very rarely, if ever, is anyone argued, forced,
or guilt-ed into the kingdom! But they are led! All we have is love. They
will know that we are Christians by our Love! It doesn’t matter who you see
on the offensive. Maybe someone from another lifestyle, people group,
religion. It doesn’t matter what they’ve done to you, said about you,
treated you! It doesn’t even matter how sinful they may be! We are called
to love and bless them. The rest is up to the only one who can really ever
judge and administer justice fairly! The one who is the reveal-er of the
thoughts and intents of the heart! Read that passage in second Kings again,
read the story of Jonah, read the account of the crucifixion! Redemption of
the enemy has always been at the heart of the Father! It’s the only chance
any of us have at gaining His mercy as well. It doesn’t matter what stage
you are at in your spiritual journey, we all were, at one time, enemies of
the cross!

Which brings me to a bit of a teaser as to where I am headed for the next
two Sundays. Last Sunday the key word was Love! This Sunday the key word is
Fear! What does it mean to fear the Lord? Easter Sunday the key word is
Forgive! What does it mean to both be forgiven, and to truly forgive?

“*The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the
Holy One is insight.” Proverbs 9:10(ESV)*

So once again this baby is gonna be short and sweet. It’s been one of those
weeks when there were already lots on the go, every minute was already
booked, and in typical fashion when that is the case in life, there are
always other things that just seem to pop up pushing one to the edge! I’m
OK, but it has been a busy one!

Please come and join us tomorrow for a special day at church! We will be
celebrating children and family by having the child dedication of the
Fairhead children! It’s also potluck Sunday!!!! It doesn’t get much better
than that! I’m even using this opportunity to dust off my preaching skills
as we are done with the realignment series!!! Bring a bag of popcorn, it
may be a pretty interesting show!

Cheryl Fischer contacted me the other day wondering if it would be OK if
she put together another fellowship time prior to our Easter Sunday
service. I’m all for that, so on Easter Sunday come a bit early(9:30) and
enjoy some muffins, cheese and fruit! If that’s something you would like to
help her out with, just contact her!

I’d like to close this PG with a bit of a bible verse teaser on where we
are going in my messages for the next three Sunday’s culminating in Easter
Sunday. *“Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes
from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God, and knows God. But anyone who
does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:7,8*

Please keep Richard, and the Dimler family, in your prayers during this
trying time for them!

*Pastor’s Garage- Feb 29/2024*

Morning Y’all. I apologize for not getting out a PG last week as it was a
pretty full week with us being on the road for most of it. I figured I
better rise to the occasion today as it’s a pretty special day! You only
get the chance to write a PG on Feb 29 every four years, and if you take
into account that I usually write them on a Thursday morning, and do the
math, the next opportunity for me to write one of these won’t come for
another 28 years!

We had the privilege to attend an event put on by the River House of Prayer
out of Regina last weekend called “Repairing the Altar of the Lord;
Activating the Local Church in Biblical Corporate Prayer”. A couple weeks
prior I got a call from a man I greatly respect named Graham Beke who runs
the house of prayer asking if I would consider attending. I have always
admired Graham for his passion and humility in encouraging others to grow
closer to God. Plus I readily admit, my prayer life was in desperate need
of some activating! It was an amazing time of both learning some simple,
practical techniques in getting us more focused on prayer and also praying
together as pastors and various church leaders from across southern Sask.

I personally have had some real breakthrough in my own walk as a Christian
and pastor over the last few weeks. I also sense a shift in our church from
a dry, hard season into some exciting things that the Lord has for us ahead
if we press into Him! But the reality is that any time the Lord wants, and
starts, to initiate breakthrough, the enemy also rises to the occasion
because he definitely does not! As I was thinking and praying about this I
felt a bit of a sense of dread about the possible battle ahead. In light of
that I felt God saying that I/we need to bath everything in absolute
humility and prayer! But I was also reminded and encouraged, at the prayer
thinger that I mentioned earlier, that the battle is already won! Graham
shared how so often we tend to struggle more than we need too because we
get too focused on the enemy. We need to focus on the one who already has
paid the price and won the battle at Calvary and walk in light of that
taking our God-given authority as saints, children, and heirs over that
defeated foe!

And I believe that this breakthrough or shift is far bigger than me! It has
to be! That God is also birthing something in many of your hearts as well!
I have sensed a greater desire for prayer and I want to give you some
opportunities to walk that out! The ladies have been meeting in the
Oakshela room on Wed mornings at 8:40 if you would like to join them in
prayer. There are two times you can have a time of prayer with some guys,
one being Monday mornings at 9am in the sanctuary and Wednesday mornings at
6:30am in the Oakshela room for a time of bible study, prayer, toast and
coffee! Also a few ladies came to me earlier asking if they could clean out
the old prayer room on the right hand side of the stage, which had
basically become a storage room, and once again use it as a room dedicated
to prayer. Sunday mornings at 9:30 would you consider joining us there to
seek God’s face and uphold our service in prayer? The last few Sunday’s a
few of us have been meeting there and I have sensed a tangible shift in our
morning services! Could it be possible that prayer actually works? In
reality, I am convinced that it is the only thing that actually works!

Spoiler alert! It has been my desire for almost a year now, ever since Carl
Dixon the pastor of the Lumsden church, shared with me how his church’s
midweek prayer meeting has seen a real turn around, to initiate something
similar here. I definitely believe that small group, age or gender specific
prayer times have great value in breakthrough and encouragement on a
personal scale. I also believe that there is real power in prayer in a
corporate setting if we want to see that same breakthrough and power
released for our church! It is my desire to initiate a weekly prayer
meeting in the very near future. If that is something that excites you and
you would like to be a part of making it happen please reach out to me! I
am also endeavouring to have Graham Beke come out here in the near future
to share his heart!

Please join us this Sunday at 10:30 for our morning service, we only have
two videos left in our realignment series, both entitled “Sent!”

I will leave you with some verses we looked at on Wed morning during our
time together as men. *“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love
them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other
with genuine affection, and take delight in honouring each other.” Romans
12:9,10.*

Well once again we are getting a little shot of winter! It feels like the
fifth winter and spring we have had in the last few months! Well “actual”
spring is getting a little bit closer! The days are getting a little bit
longer! Hang in there, we’re gonna make it!

There seems to be a lot going on in the next few weeks so I thought I would
just take this opportunity to highlight some of that. This Sunday, Feb 11,
just to celebrate our church family, build community, and maybe celebrate
valentine’s day a little bit, Cheryl Fischer asked if she could orchestrate
a fellowship time before church where we could just gather and enjoy each
other’s company. In light of that, you are welcome to come to the church at
9:30am to enjoy some coffee, tea, juice, muffins, danishes and various
fruits! If you would like to help out with this in some way please contact
Cheryl!

The following Sunday, Feb 18, will be our monthly potluck, plus it is our
annual meeting. That will happen at 1:30pm. The reports are ready and
available to look over if that’s something that interests you. While our
reports and attendance to the meeting is open to the public, only those who
are members of our church can hold office, make motions, or vote. If
membership is something that interests you please contact me and I would be
happy to help you out with that process. It’s not too strenuous, and
usually just involves some kind of gift to the acting pastor of some form
of homemade pastry…..

The following Sunday, Feb 25, I am excited to announce we will be having a
baptismal service! Cryssi Sens, who will have just freshly returned from
her mission trip to Mexico, has expressed a desire to share her testimony
and be baptized! If that is a step that you have not yet taken, would you
prayerfully consider taking that step with us that day? I want to include
an insert from a worksheet that Pastor Dave developed for a baptismal
service we did in 2021.

*Baptism will not; cleanse me from sin, make me a new person, or give me
eternal life!*

*Baptism is; a step of faith, a step of obedience, a step of commitment,
and a public testimony!*

If this is something that interests you or if you would just like to
discuss it further, please give me a shout, I would love to discuss it over
a coffee and some form of homemade pastry!

Well I have an unseasonably unusual amount of mud to shovel at a local car
wash so I will sign off for now. Hope to see you soon!

Well we’re over the hill, we’re gonna make it! Yesterday was the shortest
day of the year, from now on its clear sailing into spring! Well at least
the two week forecast sure looks good!

I want to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a Merry
Christmas and Happy New Year! It has been my honour and privilege to serve
you as both associate pastor and now interim pastor over the past year! You
are good people and this is a good church. No, we are far from a perfect
church, but I am actually thankful for that because I am very far from
being a perfect pastor! But I do love this church and I see a desire for us
to grow in serving the Lord! While I miss Pastor Dave and his family, as I
am sure most of you also do, I am proud of how we have in many ways come
together to shoulder the stresses that come with this kind of change! I
look forward to what the new year will bring as we continue to trust in the
leadership of our heavenly Father! I’ve been praying for breakthrough!
Breakthrough in my own personal life! Breakthrough in us as a church that
we would grow as a tight knit family! Breakthrough in the depths of our
personal spiritual walks. And breakthrough in our impact on the community
that we find ourselves in!

This Sunday, Christmas Eve, there will be two services at the church. In
the morning service Kelley and myself will be leading worship, and Janelle
Oshowy will be sharing. At 7pm there will be a Christmas Eve candlelight
service being led by Kelley and Shauna. While our family will be leaving
for BreAnns parents after the morning service and will miss the candlelight
service, I have seen what they have planned and it will be a special time
of gathering and focusing on the reason we celebrate this season! Please
make it a priority to come to both services, even if you have family and
guests here for the holidays! In fact I would go so far as to say
especially if you have family and guests here come on out! Bring them
along! Let us grow in our love for one another! Let us celebrate together!

Starting on New Years Eve we will be having a very different style of
Sunday morning service for a couple months. I’ll be honest with you, I am
looking toward it with a bit of trepidation, because people generally don’t
like change, and the content I believe will call us to a higher standard as
Jesus followers. But I am excited about the possibilities it could unlock
if we press in as a church family and decide to cumulatively press toward
the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus in our
lives, church and community!

That evening the church will be open from 7pm on for anyone who would like
to ring in the new year as a church family. There will be a movie and
popcorn for the kids, bring some finger foods for the adults! It will just
be a time of fellowship and games if that’s your thing. We’ll ring in the
Newfoundland New year together! Any party animals that want to stay and
play games until midnight are welcome to do so but this pumpkin will likely
be off to bed by then!

Guys, it looks like the men’s retreat on Jan 12-14 at Kenosee is a go, so
please try and come join us if you can. There will be bacon, some kind of
smoked meat, and lots of tall tales! See Kevin S or Lowell O for more
details!

I saw someone post this on Facebook earlier this week and I thought it
profound. “Each of us is a Innkeeper who decides if there is room for
Jesus!” I will close with a couple verses from Hebrews that I was pondering
yesterday. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering
for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one
another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the
habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the
Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25 “And without faith it is impossible to
please Him, for whoever would draw near to God, must believe that He exists
and that He rewards those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

Blessings and seasons greetings!

Well how goes the battle? This week, for me at least, is nothing short of
crazy busy. I have no less than two separate events going on every single
day, let alone the other daily or weekly tasks that one should be
endeavouring to accomplish! I think, in an effort to protect the week
leading up to Christmas from getting too busy, everyone planned things for
the prior one making it crazy busy!

This Saturday evening will be our church’s Christmas celebration with a
banquet and concert with Curtis and Bonnie Szakacs and family. Please make
every effort to attend and please please use this event as an opportunity
to invite someone along! The Good News will be shared!!!! Doors open at
5:30, supper at 6, concert at 7.

On Sunday morning we will be celebrating our children! The Sunday School
will be putting on their Christmas program, and we will be having a
dedication for the children of JJ and Yvette Annandale!

Christmas eve there will be two services, in the morning Janelle Oshowy
will be sharing her story, and at 7pm will be our annual candlelight
Christmas eve service!

Guys, don’t forget about our men’s retreat, Jan 12-14 at Kenosee Lake Bible
Camp. For more info or to register please contact either Kevin
Speidelsbach or Lowell Oshowy!

As we look towards the new year, we will be starting it off with having a
very different style of service for the first number of Sunday’s! Over the
last few weeks I have been challenged through a number of circumstances to
do a sermon series on the basics of Christianity! While I was pondering on
how that would look my mind went to a series of video’s pastor Dave and
myself did during the height of Covid, when we weren’t allowed to have
in-person services, called Realignment! At that time both of us were
feeling that so much craziness was going on, and we needed to do a series
on the basics to get us as a church back on track or at least to ground us!
Now here we are three years later and, while much of the craziness of Covid
is in our rear view mirror, I still wonder if we are a bit off track at
times.

My thoughts go to what we had entitled that series, Realignment. In course
navigation even the slightest variance off course, while initially not
seeming serious, will eventually lead to serious problems if not constantly
assessed and corrected. If a plane, ship, or satellite is even a fraction
of a degree off course, within the first few minutes the problem is hardly
noticeable, but many hours later, if not addressed and corrected, there
will be serious consequences when they try to arrive at their intended
destination. In respect to an automobile, the front end alignment needs to
be checked periodically just to make sure there are no worn or damaged
parts. Otherwise premature tire wear will occur costing a lot more in the
end, not to mention decreased efficiency and fuel mileage. Churches, and
people for that matter, are no different! Every once and awhile it is
important to take a good, hard, long look at why we do what we do, what we
are doing, and where we are headed to make sure we are still on course!

Over the last few days I have re-watched a number of those videos, and I
see no need to reinvent the wheel as they were pretty well done and to the
point! They were designed to be done in a small group setting and it was
our intention to continue to use them in the years to come with new
believers or members as well. There are 10 videos and each video is
approximately 25 minutes long with a few group discussion questions
throughout. I think there would be huge value in us going through them as a
church body to start out the new year so starting on the morning of New
Years eve we will watch the first video together called Situation. This
will likely carry on until the end of February. If anyone misses a Sunday
they can all be accessed on our website, grenfellap.com so that we can all
stay together on this journey!

Somebody much smarter than I once said “The main thing is to keep the main
thing, the main thing!” In this day and age it is very easy to get
distracted and off track. Let us as a church take this season and make it a
priority to make sure we are seeking to serve and honour our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ to the best of our abilities! *“Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth!”* 2 Timothy 2:15

Blessing,

Hey there, so I’m gonna just stick to what all is going on in the next few
weeks. This Sunday Clint Taylor from Regina will be joining us to share.
Rachel Kardash will be leading worship.

The following Saturday, Dec 16th, will be our Christmas banquet and concert
with Curtis and Bonnie Szakacs and family. Doors open at 5:30, supper at 6,
concert at 7. The meal is all planned, if some of the church people could
bring some desserts that would be great. Talk to Kevin or Carol
Speidelsbach about what you could bring as they are giving leadership to
the meal. Please, please, use this event as an opportunity to invite
someone to church!

The following morning, Sunday Dec 17, will be the kids Christmas program
and a child dedication for the children of Yvette and JJ Annandale. Rachel
Drinnan will be leading worship, and there will be no potluck that day as
the banquet was just the night before.

Sunday Dec 24, CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!, Janelle Oshowy will be sharing something
the Lord has laid on her heart and Kelley and myself will be leading
worship for the morning service. That evening there will be a family
candlelight service starting at 7 here at the church.

The following Sunday will be new years eve! There will be a normally
scheduled service that morning but I am still open to some kinda family
night that evening if there are those out there that are interested in
attending and giving some leadership to it. Let me know. My vision would be
a movie and popcorn for the youngins, they could even come in pajamas, and
just a hang out time with finger food for us olduns, heck we could wear our
pajamas as well!

Kevin Speidelsbach and Lowell Oshowy have been working on a men’s retreat
at Kenosee Lake Bible camp on Jan 12-14. The cost is $150 for the weekend
and James Graham, the pastor of the Whitewood Evangelical Missionary church
is the speaker. If you have a desire to go please let Kevin or Lowell know
asap as they need to make a call on this event this weekend in order to let
Kenosee know.

I would encourage you to make getting together with family and friends a
priority this holiday season. Let us as a church family seek to grow
together in unity and fellowship. “And may the Lord make your love for one
another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you
overflows. May He, as a result, make your hearts strong, blameless, and
holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again
with all his holy people. Amen.” 1 Thessalonians 4:12,13
