May 7 Pastors Garage

So I make this disclaimer, I’m doing this pastors garage on my phone, and voice to text, so please forgive any typos. I’ve been out the last few days developing my tractor butt! It’s kind a like biker butt, the seat is more comfortable but the hours are a lot longer!
I was initially going to send this message out just to the five alive group leaders, but as I thought about it and I read the passage I was going to send to them I thought it was probably applicable to everyone! I had phoned each of them this week and there were several of them that expressed health concerns and it seemed there was a general consensus that everyone was sick and tired of this whole COVID-19, restrictions, and isolation thing! As I was thinking about their concerns and praying for our church a passage from Galatians came to mind. I’m not gonna expound any, it says enough in itself. It also happens to tie well into the message that I am preparing for us this Sunday<x-apple-data-detectors://0>.
“Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load. Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:1-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬
This week in the Sunday experience we have a special treat for you, there will be three ladies who will give us a short video testimony of what God is doing in their lives these days. Please continue to lift the Wick’s family up in prayer and also the Christy Dimler family.
I just want to make mention the new daily bread‘s are in. They are in a container on the front church step. Please drop by at your leisure and pick one up.
Blessings, I miss you all!
