I hope you are enjoying this warm, warm afternoon! It’s a beautiful day and
we have so much to be thankful for. Once again our Sunday Experience and
Kid’s Church is up online again for this weekend at

grenfellap.com/kids-church/. Feel free to take those in when you
can.
Another Alignment teaching is up as well at
grenfellap.com/realignment-2020/. If you have not begun to take this
in, please make it a priority. These teachings will become a framework for
our churches future. They are really important. If you need support or help
finding people to work through the study with, please let me or Pastor Mike
know.
Did you know God is in control?
Or should I ask, do you believe that God is in control?
Of everything.
He is. Of politics. Of your future. Of your health. Of the economy. Of
everything. He is God. If He’s not in control, I am not sure He’s actually
God.
The world is a little upside down right now. If you feel destabilized by
world events, you are normal. But God is in control and maybe, just maybe
He is allowing this chaos to wake people up. Reminds me of a song my dad
used to listen to by Bob Dylan. Say what you want about Bob, but he wrote
some pretty deep songs about God back in the day. I won’t bore you with a
youtube video, but he wrote a song called “When you Gonna Wake Up” in 1979.
I’ll post the lyrics at the end.. but maybe we all need to be asked that
question! On a side note, if we think any of the chaos we see in the world
today is completely new, he wrote this song in 79! These things have been
brewing for a while.
