heading out to Kenosee for our little men’s retreat this weekend. If you’d
like to join us there is still lots of room and it will be a really good
getaway. We’ll be there tonight and all day Saturday. Come on out and enjoy
some time together. Call me or Mike Zorn for details.
This Saturday is our Second Saturday prayer night. A number of us will be
away either at the men’s retreat or at other commitments but the sanctuary
will still be open for prayer. Please come and spend some time praying for
our community.
March 17th is our next potluck. Following that we will have a round-table
discussion like we have in the past. We will gather in small groups and
discuss some important questions about our churches future. Please make
this Sunday a priority and come and bring any questions, concerns OR ideas
you might have for the future. These are helpful and important meetings to
have.
Please pray for the service this weekend. Please ask God to move and to
speak to us. Please pray that God would use me as I speak and for those
leading worship that God would anoint them and use them. We need more of
God.
This Sunday I will be preaching on The 3 B’s (Perfection or Holiness?) from
2 Timothy 1:9. It will be a challenging message to deliver as I attempt to
address our constant struggle with trying to be self righteous and the
unfortunate effects that that has on the way we relate to the world. Please
pray that God’s truth would be declared.
