Pastors Garage

I’m sending out this Pastors Garage a bit earlier this week as we’re heading out to family camp at Springside first thing in the morning. I just thought I would give you a bit of a heads up for what’s happening at church for the next month. This Sunday our beloved Daniel Cole will be returning to his roots and sharing with us the message has been laid upon his heart. I will be back in time to lead the worship for that morning.
The following Sunday, July 16th, a team will be coming from Teen Challenge to share with us the power of God to overcome addiction. Please take this opportunity to invite those the Lord lays on your heart within our community. Following the service we will be having a BBQ in the parking lot, please bring a salad or dessert.
On Sunday July 23 we are going have a bit of a different style of service, we are having a prayer summit! We will be breaking into smaller groups and just praying that we would get to know Gods heart better, for our church, for each other, for our town, for our world. I know that for some this style of service can be pretty intimidating or uncomfortable, yet for others it is very life giving. I just can’t see the harm in spending a whole morning praying every once in a while!
The final Sunday in July, the 30th, our very own Karen Fairhead will be bringing the message for our church that God has laid on her heart. Please join us for that! I will be in Stoughton that Sunday speaking as they are still without a pastor and looking for pulpit relief.
It seems like there are so many right now that are struggling with health concerns, please keep them in constant prayer as the Lord brings them to mind! Please pray for the many camps that are going on right now, that God would move mightily in and through them.
