The Pastor’s Garage December 28th, 2022

What can I say… another Christmas is upon us. I wanted to write something
inspiring or cute that somehow captures the Christmas spirit, but as I
tried to do that it sounded cliche and repetitive and a little worldly…
so instead I will simply say this… modified from Luke 2:

*Do not be afraid. The world is looking more and more chaotic and there is
much to be afraid of but I bring you good news that should bring you great
joy! 2000 years ago in the town of David a Savior was born to you; he is
the Messiah, the Lord. He has conquered and has won period – there is
nothing to fear! *

*Let’s join with the heavenly host and praise God.*

*“Glory to God in the highest heaven,*
* and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”*

*Let’s make sure we have a faith filled Christmas and with eyes of faith
see Bethlehem and what happened there, those things the Lord has told us
about.*

From my family to yours I say Merry Christmas. I hope you have a wonderful
holiday season.

*Please join us for our Christmas Eve service at 7:00pm on Saturday
December 24th. Candles, candybags, cider and snacks. All are welcome…
invite your families, friends and neighbors.*

We will not be gathering on Sunday December 25th. If you will be alone that
day, would you consider reaching out to myself or Pastor Mike? We would
love to help you get connected. If you know of someone who won’t have
family around, please reach out and invite them into your home.

Blessings and Merry Christmas,

Pastor Dave
