I trust you are having a good week of prayer and potential fasting
depending on what you decided to do with your week. It looks like the next
couple of days are going to be relatively mild, so if you have not been
outside for a while because of the windy and cold spell we had, maybe take
some time in the next few days to do just that. Head out for a walk (watch
your step) and enjoy the sun. While you are out pray for our town and for
our church. We need prayer now more than ever- it is a crucial time for our
community and for our world. The world desperately needs prayer.
This Sunday is our annual meeting at 1:00 pm. If you are a church member
please do all you can to be there so that we can meet quorum and so your
voice can be heard. It will be easy to be there since we are having a
potluck after the service. The kids will be upstairs for the service as
well. I’ve got something interesting for all of us!
Tonight (Friday) we have another youth night here at the church from 7-9pm.
We’ll be doing some games that will help the poor students get through a
week without school 🙂 Feel free to send your youth or youth that you know.
