Next week I travel to Calgary to the ACOP head office for some meetings
regarding missions. I am fortunate to sit on this committee and am proud to
represent us at this level. Please pray for me as I travel and for fruitful
meetings.
This weekend we will continue our look at James as we dive into the last
chapter of the book. It has been so good to keep planted here and listen to
what God has to say. Please pray for me as I share and for our worship team
this weekend.
Please continue to pray for our community and for our church and keep
filling the prayer table. It is visibly inspiring as we see the table top
slowly fill. Let’s get it done! I’ve noticed that some people have written
words, names or initials on rocks and left them on the table. Feel free to
be creative.
Tomorrow from noon to 1:00 pm I am meeting with a small group of people
passionate about prayer here at the church. If that’s you or you are
wanting to be passionate about prayer I would encourage you to join us here
at the church.
A while ago I sowed the seeds of small groups studying and reading the
bible together. A handful of people have shown interest, but no-one is
ready to lead yet. I am making the call that someone step up to lead, we
need to be in community and studying the bible together. If you are
passionate about this but don’t know where to start, come and talk to me.
